On Location: The September Collection Shot on the Upper West Side
This September, our photoshoot took us to Manhattan’s Upper West Side, a neighborhood that served as source material for our fall collection. Steeped in tradition and governed by the diverse pursuits of its residents—museum-going, restaurant-hopping, balancing family life with busy careers—it was just the place to showcase our latest styles, designed for an ever-evolving life.
Here, explore some of our favorite local spots and must-have looks, featuring traditional tweeds, classic outerwear, and an array of exclusive prints.
Murray’s Sturgeon Shop
A neighborhood fixture since 1946, Murray’s is beloved for its selection of smoked fish, kosher deli meats, and other appetizing. Stop in for a bagel or sandwich to go, or pick up a spread for hosting brunch at home.
American Museum of Natural History
One of the city’s world-renowned museums, located in a picturesque spot along Central Park West. Standing beneath the big blue whale in the Hall of Ocean Life is a New York rite of passage, but we also recommend taking in the dazzling Halls of Gems and Minerals. (And how better to do that than in jewel tones?)
Central Park
Framing the eastern edge of the Upper West Side: Central Park, an oasis within the city with sites like the Shakespeare Garden and Belvedere Castle. Stunning in every season, we especially loved it as a backdrop for our rich fall neutrals and darker florals.
Spiga Restaurant
After a day exploring (or shooting a new collection), settle in for a cozy Italian meal at Spiga. We love the thoughtful service, the authentic homemade pastas, and the warm décor which even inspired some of our outfits, like our Falcon Dress and Philippa Wrap.
