What’s one word you associate with confidence:
Resilience.
What’s the best piece of professional advice you’ve received?
When you enter a new environment, speak less and listen more. No matter how much experience you had at your past job, your new colleagues will always have more insights into your current employer.
Who is a woman you most admire, personally or professionally?
The woman I admire the most is my aunt. Before she retired, she was an air traffic controller, a high-stress job in which you cannot make any mistakes. Even then, she was promoted several times and still being asked to train new hires as of this day. At the same time, she was also a single mother who sent her daughter to Harvard!

The Finn button-down shirt, our Domino jeans, and a wicker bag.
What’s one word you associate with confidence:
Focus.
What’s the best piece of professional advice you’ve received?
No one is too big or too small for any job. Every employee contributes to the success of the business or task at hand by taking initiative and staying focused. With that, being self-sufficient and resourceful—while owning your work both individually and collaboratively—has led to many accomplishments.
Who is a woman you most admire, personally or professionally?
The woman I most admire is my mom. She launched her own business 25 years ago and has consistently demonstrated what hard work and dedication can achieve. She is the most talented and creative person I know, and she pushes and encourages me every day. She’s a constant inspiration, both professionally and personally, to me and to many around her. Her grace and strength are remarkable, and I admire her dearly!
What J.McLaughlin styles make you feel your most confident?
A great tailored dress—my favorite currently is the Orla Dress in Ogee Bloom—and a wicker clutch paired with the Ava Wedges.
What’s one word you associate with confidence:
Boldness.
What’s the best piece of professional advice you’ve received?
Don’t be afraid to take risks. An industry pivot in your resume, suggesting an out of the box idea, or responsibly testing a brand-new tactic can teach you so much and allow you to grow.
Who is a woman you most admire, personally or professionally?
It’s really difficult to pick just one! I have so many incredible women in my life who amaze me daily. My team, mentors, family, friends—I admire something about each of them!

What’s one word you associate with confidence:
Authenticity
What J.McLaughlin styles make you feel your most confident?
Anything with our wide leg Lowden Jeans. They make me look taller, plus they hold their shape well. I feel really put together by the end of day.
What’s one word you associate with confidence:
Self-awareness.
What is the best piece of professional advice you’ve received?
During my junior year of college, while I was applying for internships (including the internship that I took with J. McLaughlin), one of my professors told me that you will never get what you do not ask for. This rings true for any stage of one’s career, but especially with young adults starting out who may think they are underqualified or undeserving. You will never get your desired position or salary without asking and putting yourself out there.
Who is a woman you most admire, personally or professionally?
The women that I admire most professionally are my colleagues here are J. McLaughlin. I work on an all-women team, in the planning and allocation department. For the past 2.5 years, I have been mentored and taught by successful, driven women, many of whom juggle motherhood and their careers with grace. They have inspired and guided me in my early career to strive with the same amount of ambition and grace not only in my professional life, but in my personal life as well.

Our new navy pleated set–the Moderna Top and Piazza Pants–and the Dorothea Heels in Ocean.
What’s one word you associate with confidence:
Visionary.
