The February Edit with Chief Merchandising Officer Glynis Karp

  • Glynis Karp in cashmere turtleneck and jeans
  • With travel plans and transitional weather ahead, we turned to our fabulous (and fabulously funny) Chief Merchandising Officer Glynis Karp to help with our favorite question: what should we wear?

Below, find out her top pieces from our February Collection, what’s on her packing list, and how she’ll be styling everything from winter into spring.

  • The Eldridge Dress

  • Model in printed midi dress and sandals
  • “I love this dress because it can be layered. I can put it with a little suede jacket, I can put it with a jean jacket, I can put it with a suede boot if I’m here in New York. If I’m traveling to Florida, I can wear it with a little sandal and a little wicker bag.”

  • The Pleated Set

  • Model in pleated matching set
  • “It’s great as a set, it’s great separate. The pants are amazing back to a cashmere sweater if you’re getting on an airplane. Dressy, casual–I just think this has so many legs.”

  • The Helene Jacket

  • Model in collarless quilted jacket and white jeans
  • “Great for here in the North. I can wear a turtleneck under it with jeans, or I can wear it with white jeans in Palm Beach with a little tank top underneath.”

  • The Simone Cardigan

  • Model in cardigan, tee, and jeans
  • “When I look at this time of year and I want to make an investment in my wardrobe–and I live here in New York—I love to buy some neutrals so that they can take me throughout the season. These have been amazing. Great traveling pieces, great layering pieces.”

  • The Finn Shirt

  • Model in striped shirt and jeans
  • “Our Finn Shirt should be a staple in everyone’s wardrobes. . . . I can wear this out, I can tuck it in, I can wear a sweater over it, I can pop the collar, I can wear it under a blazer, I can wear it open with a t-shirt underneath.”

  • The Claudie Jacket + Dakota Pants

  • Model in tweed jacket and gingham pants
  • “Cream in the winter is amazing, so I love this jacket. It’s a beautiful woven bouclé–excellent for layering, great for travel.”

“We’ve updated our gingham pant this year. We put her in a jean, which is so chic. I just love this whole look.”

  • The Toile Set

  • Model in toile matching set with tweed jacket
  • “Take it and wear it separately or wear it together . . . Great back to a cream pant or a jean, or a cream cashmere sweater. . . . There’s so much versatility here, and it doesn’t wrinkle.”

  • The Doen Dress

  • Model in tweed dress and ballet flats
  • “If you’re going from day to night—if you’re going to the office and then you have drinks afterwards or dinner—this is the perfect dress.”

  • The Reina Loafer

  • Suede loafers with bamboo-style hardware
  • “My favorite shoe ever . . . great if you’re getting on an airplane. It’s got rubber soles, so if you have to run through an airport, it’s the perfect shoe. If you have to go to the office with a wide leg pant, it’s the perfect shoe.”
